Kenneth Branagh (of Shakespeare adaptation fame) is going to direct Thor, based on the Marvel character of the same name.
Seriously?
Even better (and more apt), Joss Whedon is signed on to direct the Avengers (also Marvel) movie that's supposed to come out in 2012.

In other news, life goes on. I'm looking forward to seeing Eddie Izzard in Vancouver next weekend with friends, and to driving out to Denver in the summer with my brother and his European pseudo-girlfriend, who will be visiting the U.S. for the first time this summer. I'm also looking forward to my class ending in June so that i can actually have enough time to hunt for jobs. In other words, i am currently failing at effectively hunting for jobs.
Also, Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog is the greatest thing ever to be created by man. (Or, at least, by Joss Whedon. Wait, nevermind... Firefly was still better.)
