(no subject)
So! Florida is treating me pretty well so far. I've got a nice apartment west of the Disney parks in Clermont, so commute time isn't bad. My car is currently back in the shop getting another engine put in it for free since the last one was faulty (I threw a rod after only 1000 miles), but people at work and my new friend Beri have been awesome at helping me get around to where I need to go. That, and the public transportation system down here isn't really bad, as long as you don't mind the walk to the first stop.
As far as work goes, I just got signed off for my first position at Epcot's Illuminations: Reflections of Earth show, but tomorrow night I have to stay late to learn how to drive one of the big ass barges around the lagoon and through the bridge. Let's just say that trying to fit a HUGE barge through a tiny drawbridge is interesting at best. The week after next I learn one of the laser positions, which will be pretty sweet too.
Other than that, life is pretty good. Just kind of taking it as it comes and enjoying the moments that I have. I hope all of you are doing well and drop me a line if you get a chance! I'll try and post more later.
