Rich people, Haruhi decided, were a strange bunch.
For one, they seemed to live in a world entirely detached from the realities of life. They freely spoke of jetting around the world (private, of course) as if it was similar to going to the market for groceries, buying and selling things she was sure cost a hundred times more than whatever she could earn in her lifetime and a thousand other things. It boggled the mind.
Well, at least most of them weren't the snobby type; quite a number of them seemed flighty but otherwise nice. That meant her time here wasn't going to be as hellish as those shoujo comics portrayed it to be. In any case, it wasn't like she had a whole lot of reasons to interact with them on an extremely regular basis so she had nothing to worry about.
With that thought in mind, she pushed open the door to what she was soon to discover was the entrance to the Third Music Room, and to a whole new chapter in her life.
