I want to apologize about all the random messages I've apparently been sending people. I've fixed it now. I didn't even realize I had anything.

yea i got one from you... i had actually got some random person message me the same thing and once i saw that you were doing it i knew it had to be a virus... unfortunately you hadn't been on so i couldn't tell you.

I got it and then got the virus, and I didn't even click on anything... now my automatic update for Norton turns off by itself and there's this other program that tries to run at start up that I haven't figured out where it is so I can get rid of it.

Yeah, I made the stupid mistake of clicking on it, didn't really read it thoroughly...

It deleted everything in my "Windows" folder. System files... everything... I had to reformat because Windows wouldn't even boot up.

But it's okay. I don't blame you. Just my own stupidity. But seriously, I'd get that fixed.

Oh my, I hope this worked... seeing it quarintine svchost kinda leaves me uncomfortable. /me backs up files before rebooting ( ... )

Unless you have antivirus software that repairs everything for you I suggest reading that advanced tab (If you know how to use the registry editor properly). ...I just finished undoing everything the virus did. (I.E. it disables automatic updates, the firewall, prevents you from restarting them, and disables some services from starting up automatically.
