Well, first you picked a good girl to love, and I am glad to see you have your head back under control in regard to that. Sometimes the people we love are not going to love us back. There isn't a thing you can do about that. I'm sorry.

I know as well as you do that it hurts like hell to not be loved back. The first thing I want to always do is call the girl a cunt, but I just say it silently in my head and move on. Women will always take advantage of a fellow's emotions. It is their fuel. The best advice I can give anyone is to try your hardest to rid them of that fuel.

Don't give a woman your emotions. This doesn't mean you should treat them like shit, but it doesn't hurt to ignore them. Lauren is a wonderful gal, but she is by no means an exception to the female ways.

You will never be able to stop caring altogether, but you will be able to eliminate most of the problem. Lauren is a hard girl NOT to love, but it is possible to not care about her. I know that sounds mean, but it is true.

And, at least your mind is set straight on the war in Iraq. There is no need to explain to me the justification of the war, because I already know. I just encourage you to persuade every of-age adult to vote Bush. This election is going to determine the next 12 to 16 years of this country, and if Kerry is elected - we will follow a terrible path.
