...I am not quite certain what to do about Leda. To her, it seems as though one day her son was a child of thirteen, and the next he is...what I am.

But she does not seem to understand how long it's been since I had a mother. I cannot simply act as though the last four thousand years did not exist.

...I can't tell her that I forgot her appearence, the sound of her voice, even her name. The only reason I recognised her name when she first arrived was because I had taken Lloyd to see the diary at Derris-Kharlan in which I had written about my parents.

There must be some way to balance our positions.
