we interrupt report writing for a slightly nerdy/fandom mental break
On the one hand: it's only quarter after one. I have many, many hours in which to keep working on reports.
On the other hand: it's only quarter after one?! I have been working FOREVER AND EVER and it's ONLY QUARTER AFTER ONE?!?!!!
Ahem.
First, how has no one told me about Weird Al's Word Crimes song??
Second, I am not particularly a fan of the whole DC/Marvel genre, but I watched this anyway and was rewarded when, upon hearing the voice-over, I was all, THAT'S CARTER! THEY USED AN SG-1 QUOTE!! (I am on an SG-1 re-watch kick right now. Only certain seasons, but still.)
Third, I forget.
Fourth, this is not strictly a nerdy fandom thing, but this song from The Hunger Games movie is hauntingly addictive.
I now return me to writing endless, boring reports. *sigh*
