Haven 4x11 Shot in the Dark
Holy crap, all the mythology! All coming together! I am most intrigued by the magic beeping book with the glowing Guard symbol and not-as-mysterious-as-I-might-have-expected riddle.
Should Duke be wary of that book and/or Jennifer? Y'know, considering?
Okay, "child of ruin." This does not bode well. First, well, that sucks for Jennifer. Add in Haven's track record for non-barn!Audrey women on this show, and I hope I won't regret getting attached to her. Second, the most popular fandom guesses (from what I've seen, which is sort of restricted to fic on ff.net) seem to be that Jennifer is either Audrey and Nathan's daughter sent back in time, or James and Arla's daughter. Either way, the future is not looking bright for the Parker/Wuornos/Cogan family.
Also, um, it's June in Haven? Of the whole freaking show and its wacky storylines, their timeline is the hardest to swallow.
Oh, Nathan. Audrey's threatened and you can barely see straight, but Duke wants to kick some ass to find his girlfriend and you're all, "Calm down and think rationally."
For some reason, it's weird to see Duke all sweet with Jennifer all the time. It about ties with watching Duke and Nathan have a heart-to-heart about Nathan's relationship with Audrey. o.O
Apparently Audrey and Nathan now dress alike. I'm not sure if this qualifies as cute or sad. And considering that all four seasons of Haven take place in about a year and Audrey was gone for half of that time period, she owns a lot of coats.
Nathan likes to hold Audrey's hand a lot. And they have obviously decided that they're not keeping their relationship the least bit secret. Wonder what the Guard thinks about that?
As for plot of the week, I laughed a bunch of times, so there's that. And I'm really, really glad that Gloria sent that text message because up until then, I was wondering if I'd be able to google 'rougarou' without knowing how to spell it in order to figure out how to spell it. An interesting conundrum. (for the record: I would have spelled it 'roup garou', because of 'loup garou', and google would've figured it out for me.)
A William ep without any appearance by William. Interesting. And where was Dave?
