*grumble grumble* (ie when computers are not my friend)
Laptop did a stupid Windows Update automatic restart immediately upon my opening the lid. This means that all of my tabs (at least half a dozen in three different windows, and a tonne of fic I'd opened and not yet read) were all lost. ARGH. I very much dislike Windows' automatic updates; half the time I lose stuff.
Firefox is partly to blame here too, this time, because whatever happened to their oh-so-handy 'bookmark all tabs' feature? I used to bookmarks all my windows every once in a while just in case something like this happened, but it takes a heck of a lot longer to do that individually. (Okay, I just saved all my tabs four days ago. But I still lost all the fic tabs I'd opened since and hadn't had time to read yet.) And their 'Oh noes, Firefox was improperly shut down! Do you want us to restore all lost tabs?" page did not show up either. *sads*
In happier news: It's Friday! Less than two weeks left until summer vacation! Weird headache-type-thing =/= aneurysm (or anything else worth worrying about)! There's awesome weather! I don't have to finish my antibiotics (which I very much dislike swallowing)! Report cards are done! I bought a few new ebooks and each purchase automatically entered me into a draw for the new Kobo Touch! My pretty blue Kobo cover arrived today (just two days after I ordered it)! Dinner out with friends tomorrow!
Those are many awesome things. Especially when most of them are from today.
