Hee! Thank you!

Yes, whether to stay and deal or split and start over is definitely a place where these two differ in their personalities, and I could see Olivia being a bit wary of that trait. But he seems to be coming around (TMFTOS notwithstanding) so he can learn.

And thank you for all your help on this one. You made it so much better, and it's much appreciated. :D

This is gorgeous. I found myself getting teary in that last part. I also love that you have the serious stuff juxtaposed with her wanting to catch up on LOST with him, they are such a family like that.

Aw, thank you so much! And yeah, couldn't have it be entirely angsty, right? As much as their lives are filled with death and uncertainty and, like, the worst childhood issues to deal with ever, they do have their fun. (Credit where it's due, though -- that one was irony_rocks' idea.)

Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh, I'm just in love with the "I have thought of a hundred reasons" line so I love seeing your take on how she listed them all in her head. You came up with some great ones from him needing to honor his debts to him needing to stop running. I really liked the scene with the waitress calling him her boyfriend and Olivia failing to correct her, the ache in her chest as she thought of their almost-kiss.

And I wanted to quote a couple things that stood out to me:

Odd as it seems to her now, Olivia had forgotten the reason why she wanted Peter to join Fringe Division in the first place: he keeps Walter grounded.

I really like this insight, because I can imagine her thinking it. Peter has come to mean so much to her and to Fringe Division, outside of "baby-sitting" Walter and all.

Also this line is so Walter it makes me laugh: "It tastes just like the medicine Peter used to take as a child!"I really really liked the mention of Charlie in parentheses too. How his loss is still too much to think about on any given day ( ... )

Thank you so much for such lovely feedback! I'm very glad you enjoyed it so much. :)

When you look back at the beginning of S1, a lot of things have changed, so I think it's just possible Olivia might sometimes forget that she pretty much had to blackmail Peter into helping her in the first place. ;)

And also, thank you for participating in the ficathon. It's only as successful as its participants, after all. :)

Purr. Fect.

It's fine to have a list of reasons, but the stories around each reason - that's the beauty of this fic. And a Peter/Olivia fic where Peter isn't even in it til the last second? I don't even feel short changed, man. :D

#76 was clever (I'm on the sixth episode of season one now!), but #84 was the one that made me think. I don't know whether he's officially her partner or not, but without Charlie, Olivia really, really needs her Peter. He's come a long way from the "stay in the car" days, and I can hardly even remember those episodes myself.

The ending was perfect. I love that he gave her the last reason himself when he opened the door. ♥

You know, I didn't even realize this until I went to do the meta before posting and I needed categories, and then it occured to me that there really isn't a lot of Peter, is there? *g*

irony_rocks gets credit for the Lost thing. I thought it was funny. ;) And I figure Peter's as close as she's got to a partner these days. He's not strictly FBI, but he's the one she usually takes with her places, and he's definitely got her back, so... honourary partner, at least.

Anyway, thank you for the lovely feedback! (Your fic's sitting open in one of my tabs, awaiting the time I can properly dedicate to reading it.)
