Как всё-таки цапля по-разному выглядит с вытянутой шеей и с втянутой.

Очень даже. И когда видишь со втянутой шеей, трудно представить какая на самом деле она длинная. А когда она большую рыбу проглотит, шея раздувается, и видно как рыба по ней вниз проходит :)

Thank you so much! Yes, he is a big bird, up to meter and a half tall, with up to two meters wingspan.

You are right, they do stand on the same foot. And sometimes they chase the intruder away :)
