I know, I know.
I know, I have not posted in a couple of months. It is not that I have not wanted to post something here and there, it is just that I have not found the time to really put down what I want to put down. Well, I still am searching for something within myself but I think I have figured out something to put down. I was looking through a book of poetry (yes I was reading poetry) that my great uncle wrote. I came across a poem that I would like to share with everybody. In fact for a while I may only be posting his poems until I figure out some things. Well, here goes:
TRUE FRIEND
When you're up there at the top
And success is coming fast
You'll have many friends around you
Friends that will not last.
They are friends that will desert you
When the ways of life are bad
You won't even start to miss them
Won't feel the least bit sad.
But when you're down there at the bottom
And life looks very black
Your True friends will be around you
There to pat you on the back.
To help you through your troubles
Right up 'till the very end
That's the kind you want around you
The only real true friend.
