quick question ...
what's with all the "speeded-up" videos on YouTube? it's become a big thing on there, but I really really do not get it. (if you don't know what I mean ... people take footage - usually whatever the latest YouTube phenom is - and then double the speed). what the hell? I guess that whole speedy-Chipmunks-sounding thing is kinda funny the first couple of times, but why is it such a thing? IS there a reason besides that it's easy, doesn't require any actual thought and for some reason people on YouTube eat it up? weird shit
