Online journals are little filters that we each see every one else's lives through, the parts others choose to share with us. That said, we all think we are close, but really we seldom know a lot about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.
we saw the worst, most obviously made for public access in the 70s video on evil in philosophy class ... mostly about a Mexican guy questioning God because his girlfriend fell off a cliff, interspersed with a cardboard puppet re-enactment of Moby Dick* and an abbreviated "Candide" that may have been a rejected Monty Python sketch. if it was a DVD, I would've totally borrowed it, ripped it and posted it here, because it was the most hilarious thing I ever saw in a class.
also, I may end up doing a presentation on "Groundhog Day" for that class. I forget why it came up, but the teacher was intrigued when I mentioned all the attention it got from religious and philosophical groups.
* of course, they used all the parts that get quoted in "Wrath of Khan". I CAN'T CONCENTRATE ON PUBLIC-ACCESS EVIL IF I'M THINKING ABOUT STAR TREK
