oh, I forgot - my weekend of unfettered access to the living room TV and its IO box let me catch up on Degrassi Next Gen and - OMG! JT gets knifed! to death! look! bwahahahaaha. oh Degrassi, you do indeed "go there". JT's my least favorite character - nothing is more annoying than unfunny comic relief - so this is all just awesome. I've missed a whole season, I think, so a lot of these last few episodes confused the hell out of me - there's a bunch of new characters, and all these new character relationships. did Emma ever actually interact with JT before he died, or is she just into his death because it gives her self-righteous crazy an outlet? I mean, Manny at least rejected him for having a tiny penis so there's some connection there, but the only time I can remember Emma even being in a scene with JT was when she was yelling at him for making fun of the tar-and-feathering of that kid that shot up the school ... or at least Jimmy's spine. I think Emma just gets off on yelling at people, and at least she won't get herpes from it. and Spinner's friends with Jimmy again? Marco hooked back up with Dylan? (BTW, is there ever an episode where Paige discusses her relationship with Alex with Dylan? you'd think she'd talk to her gay brother about being maybe gay herself, but I don't think it happened). Craig's gone, but I don't know in what capacity - I can remember him going to England, becoming homeless, going on a tour with a band, going to college, ect but I can't remember which one actually took. I'll be irked if I missed another glorious episode of Craig going insane. I want luau freakouts and homeless peer-pressure, dammit!
my god, the poorly acted melodrama of ugly Candian children is enthralling. I wish there was someplace with TWOP-like recaps (circa whenever it was when TWOP didn't take itself so seriously). if I had the episodes, I'd do it myself. poll time!
