i only wish you all could have been a part of it...
it started off when my japanese teacher gave me a 5yen coin, but it is supposed to bring luck because it has a red ribbon on it. and we all know that putting a red ribbon on something worth about 5 cents makes it extremely lucky.
anyway, i got home, checked the mail, and it turns out that i got nominated for the "People to People Student Ambassador Program." which basically means that i will be spending 19 days in Australia learning about their culture and doing awesome stuff (which may include: a "rope course"(which i'm pretty sure is just rock climbing), "soaring across a ravine," snorkling at the Great Barrier Reef, learning how to sail, and riding the world's largest gondola over a rainforest(so apparently Australia has a rainforest, unless we'll be stopping at New Zealand too)).
after reading the acceptance letter a few times, i went back to my room and found my brother folding up all of his clothes (and i noticed that his bed was missing too) because he's (FINALLY) moving out of my room.
the only bad parts about today, was that i had to wake up early to do an essay (which i did in an hour, my new record for writing an entire essay), and i got 2 new school books which i had to carry home without the use of my backpack, because it was full of other crap.
oh, and i made a new friend today too.
i really need to have that lucky coin surgically attached to my body.
and to all those people who had a bad day, i'm really sorry.
