I'd feel like Sisyphus, if it weren't for the fact that one day I'm going to have to stop rolling this rock, and I think I like this one better than the boulders I have ahead.
Today was the first day of classes for my junior year. So far, things are going well, but I can't trust my judgment right now, as I only had one class. Tuesdays and Thursdays, meanwhile, will be three-class-marathons.
My only class of the day was Spanish 260. I was happily surprised by my comprehension. Despite not having had a class for two years and minimal extracurricular practice, I could understand most of what the professor said. Of course, most of it was fairly basic stuff that I've heard before, but it's a good start. I was terrified that I would show up and everything out of her mouth would be gibberish.
I fully expected that the Fiji house would
1) Have new furniture
2) Have said furniture moved in.
It has neither. We have not yet sold the old house, so we don't have money for the furniture. The sale is expected sometime soon, though.
We do, however, have a hunormous pile of shite in the middle of the house. I did a lot of unpacking today and strained my back carrying some books. Nothing serious, it just hurt for a while.
Let's see how tomorrow goes.
