Grrrrrrrrrrr
These two and a half weeks I have had the biggest headaches in getting my bloody allergy shots. First, it took two tries and pressure from the Assistant Bursar to get the doctor (whose practice is on college land) to agree to give me my shot. Then, when I was supposed to come for my appointment, I found that the bedder threw out my serum, which I had stored in a refrigerator. She was infinitely apologetic and I felt bad for her (as it was an honest mistake), but I was still distressed.
Now that my new batch of serum has arrived, the doctor is again reluctant to administer it as he "doesn't know" for sure what's in the vials. So I'm going to end up having to take a taxi several miles out of town to the hospital's allergy clinic. I think I may call my mother and have her get me some nice signed letterhead from my allergist verifying the contents of my shots, because god damned if I'm going to spend hours every week getting these shots if I don't have to.
Red tape mangled piece of shit doctors. I'd hate this country if I didn't love it so much.
In other news, it's bloody hot in my room. It's England, it's not supposed to be hot here. I suppose now that I've complained it'll rain all the time, just my luck.
My "admirer" persists in leaving me ungrammatical messages on my whiteboard. This is getting quite surreal.
