4x03: "The Awful Truth"

best opening scene EVAR. everyone in diguise! whoa whoa whoa, vaughn in a british accent is just weird. it sounded more australian at first and then i thought, "ahnuld?" then dixon came in with his braids, mon! everything in the previews was from the episode, i swear! like, syd's geeky laugh and teehee, marshall's funny disguise. i tell ya, that thin mustache? HOT.
party up at syd's place! i loved it! aww, it was weiss's birthday and he and nadia were flirting. too adorable. ahh, syd fed vaughn a SLICE OF PIZZA (see? another bit from the previews). oh! and the "come on in" part when syd opened the door. anyway, WEISS/NADIA. the new syd/vaughn, sort of. just a lot goofier and funnier (less angst!). also, marshall and the pizza? "it's for mitchell" dixon: "mitchell is 14 months."
okay, so when did they plan out the missions by themselves? i never noticed that before until now. maybe i was too into other plotlines to notice but i always thought the mission was given and they just... did it. actually, wait. they always did go discuss it afterwards... maybe they never showed it? well anyway, that just popped out at me when i saw syd, vaughn, marshall, and dixon talking.
ooohh spydaddy is SLICK. grilling nadia and slipping in that martin was the guy who killed irina. SLICK. he killed 2 birds with one stone, my friends. 2 with 1.
vaughn's new name is shotgun. i miss boy scout. i liked boy scout. phoenix and shotgun or mountaineer and boy scout? how about phoenix and boy scout. we need the boy scout. how many times have i said boy scout? boy scout, boy scout, boy scout.
ahhh, when vaughn said that weiss was taken out, i went nooooooo! but then syd came face to face with weiss and she was probably thinking, "fuckin' a!" that martin character was gross. i loved the smartass reply by syd: "i'ma gonna kick your ass!" (another bit from the preview!) then weiss's protective "you son of a bitch!" and then THAT BASTARD SHOT WEISS. NOBODY SHOOTS WEISS, GODAMMIT. well, i mean he's been shot before but not by a crazy english thief! anyway, the best part? when syd frees weiss and he goes, "this is black ops, right? is vaughn in this too?" and then of course, weiss comes face to face with vaughn and goes, "i knew it!" ha, so much weiss love right now.
the ending shot-- the gang, back together again (with the addition of nadia). they seem so much happier! awww. this is too cute. which means something is gonna be screwed up real soon. but happy times! happy times! we just need will back.

i have to write about lost. toastandtea was right about boone/shannon. crazy... like a cat!
ahhhh! boone and shannon are stepbrother/sister but NOT BLOOD RELATED. and boone had/has the hots for shannon! and they DID IT TOGETHER IN THE PAST. how screwed up is this? so screwed up that i want to run to jj and give him a hug!
aww, jack/kate are adorable! the flirting is too cute. "little grayish yellow things" teehee. i heart jack muchly.
ha! and kate finds out that sun can speak english. it was gonna happen sooner of later. but sun is really cool. she's got this garden going... it's awesome. oh, hurley. collecting leaves because he has to go to the bathroom. ha! and aw, a friendly bond is forged between hurley and jin.
locke is by far, the most awesome person on the island (next to jack that is). he's like... jesus. he solves problems, makes things happen... he's a miracle worker. he has this way of making people see things, like tying up boone and making him realize that he needs to let go of shannon. SPEAKING OF WHICH. GOOD LORD, I THOUGHT SHANNON DIED! that big monster thing came and like, ate her or something. anyway, she was DEAD and boone was crying his poor eyes out. but of course, none of it was real 'cause locke drugged him and boone imagined all those things. the eerie part is that when locke asked how boone felt when shannon died, he said he felt relieved. cue the eerie/scary music. it was weird, though. at the end boone was just staring at shannon (shannon was talking to sayid) with that music playing in the background. kind of creeped me out.
what about shannon and sayid, huh? it's pretty cute.
and what was michael looking at in that box? we get to find out michael's story next episode! excitement. i think that covers all the main characters? wait, they didn't do one for hurley yet.
also, the hatch thing in the ground? maybe it's the doorway to "the others." and hopefully to claire! THEY STILL HAVEN'T FOUND HER YET. the suspense is killing meeeee.
