Today was a day of moving. We packed most of my stuff in my two pink suitcases and a duffel bag, and hauled it all the way to King's College Hall. The steep uphill climb, let me tell you, was not pleasant. We got into the room and it showed remarkable promise (aside from the ugly orange curtains.) A very nice, well kept single bedroom with my own sink. All of my stuff fit neatly into the room, and with a few brightening accessories like the vases of orange and yellow flowers I brought, I was ready to go.

After all this, we were exhausted. The only thing left to do that night was to go to Timon of Athens in the Globe Theatre. It was crazy. They strung a net across the open roof of the Globe, the most historical theatre in British history, and had people bungee-jump from it over the audience. It was completely breaking the fourth wall but in a way that brought the audience into the play rather than alienating them. Their production also had a really strong theme running through it, the idea of everyone circling around Timon like crow ready to pick him over, and it echoed through the costumes, the mannerisms, even the bungee-jumping set. Definitely one of the best Shakespeare plays I've seen.
