Mind the Gap
And today, you ask? Plenty.
Class this morning went fine. Watched a performance of World's Afire starring the faculty (and Callum -- with an American accent, nonetheless). Rehearsed my RT piece, as well as Mitch's. Got half-price tickets at Leicester Square for Brief Encounter by Noel Coward. (Yay! More on that later...) Also went on a two(-ish) hour bus tour around London and got some great pictures of all sorts of "typical" London scenes and landmarks. Will post...eventually? Maybe Sunday.
Brief Encounter was AMAZING. I highly recommend the experience -- completely different and interesting! Didn't expect a musical, but it was lovely and beautiful. Afterwards Ryan and I met (and got the autograph of) the creator of the theatre company, who also directed the show, is the artistic director for the theatre itself, and was in the show as a major character. Wonderful! Eventually got back to the hotel and...here I am.
Tomorrow plans should be even better, which seems to be a recurring theme throughout the trip.
