I went down to town yesterday and bought some various little snacks that I wanted. Pasta being the main one. And spaghetti sauce. Dried apricots. Prawn cocktail crisps (alright, so that's not really something I missed from home, but I really wanted some). And I bought a transfer cable for my MD. The audio from the other night sounds just as bad as I thought it would.
I also bought a ticket for The Last Confession. It's closing next weekend and I really wanted to get a chance to see it again from the stalls so that I could, you know, actually see it. I'm going Monday night. I talked to Evelyn as well and we're going go to the National Gallery that afternoon. So that'll be good. I kind of wanted to go to the Brompton Oratory, but I'll refrain from forcing her to go to a Latin mass...for now.
I am trying to download North and South. It says the file only has 2 hours left, but I keep losing my connection so it could take well over 5 or 6 more hours. It'll be worth it though. Totally worth it. Speaking of period pieces, I watched Amazing Grace yesterday. Um, holy crap it's awesome. I wish I'd made the time to go see that in the theater. Such a fantastic film.
I'm supposed to be going out with Ryland today/tonight. We'll see if that happens.
