Howdy Y'all

Hello friends or enemies (I never know who could be reading this). It's Friday! These last few weeks of school seem to pass by so slow and fast at the same time. According to Dave Powell, "The days go on forever, but the years fly by." I also have another good quote from Dante's Inferno which we are reading in Literature right now. "There is no greater sorrow than thinking upon a happy time in misery." Now let's think about that a second. Does looking back on happy times when you are sad make you happy or sad? I say sad, but glad. What's your take on it?

When it comes to more inspirational stuff, I've noticed that college is this span of four years in which you question everything you've ever known to be true. I mean I believe differently about a lot of things, but I still don't necessarily feel the need to tell my beliefs to everyone...because they are just beliefs not truths. I believe the only true thing is love, and not in a cheesy way. Love or the absence of love determines most of what humans do. Wow, I am rambling...it's that Dave Powell coming out in me (he's a professor of mine who teaches a life lesson every class for those of you who are clueless at this point). Who knows how I feel? I just know that is good to not feel so scared about questioning things anymore. I feel like it is a good thing, even though my small Bible belt town would disaggree. Once you stop questioning, you stop growing.

Well, I think I'm done reflecting....spread the love!
