Yipee, it is the end of our first week back. Even though it wasn't a full week, it feels close to one. More than actual work is the amount of stress that getting 5 or more syllabi (haha...sounds funny) causes everyone. I think this semester is going to be very busy for me and a lot of other people. But, I think it will be fun because I seem to be getting to know new people each day which is awesome!

Yesterday and today have been good. Yesterday I had classes. But, it was really sad that our first day of class, Dr. Simpson's mom died. Plus, I don't think Dr. Lucas who filled in for him knows who I am even though she is my advisor. And I didn't get to work yesterday or today because our poor Blount County kids have the flu! Set construction yesterday was also quite interesting. I never feel like I know what I'm doing. We ended up painting the banner with this nasty old paint that smelled like poo. I also found out that I have to buy my own wings, but our fairy costumes are going to be awesome...plus we all have to do three extra hours of set construction a week...yuck...it's not even my major. I think that is about all that was interesting about yesterday except that I kind of got in a disagreement with my boyfriend...but we are wonderful now.

Moving on to today. Nothing much has happened today...I have been messing around on my computer for hours. I had three classes this morning and we got to watch this cool reality show called Frontier House in history where these modern families try to live off the land in Montana. I want to watch all of them. Plus Dr. Wells hooked me up with a tutoring job, which I am very thankful for since my scholarship depends on it.

That's about it...but, I am sure no one will read this because it is so long...I just feel like I need to document my life for some reason. The rest of the day I have to run at 4pm then go to play practice at 7pm then who knows what? Oh yeah, Lent is coming up soon. I think I am going to try to give up all sweets and all drinks but water...it's not that bad I've done it before. I'm also going to try to do a bible study each day since I have been really bad at that. I seem to never make time for what is really important, ya know? But this lenten promise makes me want to gorge in those things beforehand and after lent which doesn't do well for my latest health kick. I think I'm doing okay...but what sucks is that I seem to lose weight one day when I don't eat much, then gain it back when I eat a lot...I'm so up and down...arrggh. I have exercised 3 times this week so far, which I hope to turn into five. My boyfriend says I am looking more fit...but it was on one of my skinnier days so I've gotta keep at it. I wish I could eat whatever I want and lose weight...some guys can do that, they suck! Not to turn this into a confessional, but I played flip cup for the first time the other night on a school night! But I am smart so I only played a few times (not even a whole beer). I just don't see how or why anyone would drink on a school night. And for those first time readers, I can still count the number of times I've drank alcohol this year on one hand so I'm good. I hope I stay that way...I don't know why drinking is so tempting (I guess because it is so new and kind of forbidden...that's what I don't like about America). Anyways, I am in such a typing mood today! No one really wants to know my life story, but who cares? I think I should finish before this gets ugly...but I have one last thing. Here is my schedule for whoever cares or wants to understand why I could be a little stressed (even though I have brought it on myself).

MY TYPICAL WEEK FROM NOW ON:

MONDAY,WEDNESDAY,FRIDAY: Lit.@8am, History@10am, Soc.@11am, Work@12pm
TUESDAY,THURSDAY: Bib.@9:30am, Work@12pm, SPB@1pm (Th), Soc.@2pm
SATURDAY: Day Off! or for homework
SUNDAY: Home for church at 11am and 5:30pm (youth group)

In addition to these activities I will have play practice 3 hours a day for 3 or more days a week. Plus I have to tutor for a few hours a week and I have to exercise at least 4 days a week (according to my New Year's Resolution) :) Okay, peace out...I better stop before this gets any longer.
