chillin'

I just wanted to update really quick...3 days left of work and counting. Now to the interesting stuff...On Monday, I was shaking one of the kid's yoohoos and I accidentally smashed it into a million pieces...haha, I'm a bigger mess than them. And today this kid broke his arm or at least I think it was broken. It was all crooked...kinda gross. But I didn't freak out, plus there were other people there. He started getting pale and all sweaty...which freaks me out more than the crooked arm. I just hate seeing people on the verge of fainting or shock. Like during the blood drive I had to help two people who were about to pass out...I just feel so bad when I see someone like that...it's freaky...like they're dying or something. Anyhow, what a random rant.

I just got home about an hour ago because I was working at the National Night Out thing in my town where there was a bunch of stuff like blow up things and food for kids and families in Madisonville. It was actually really fun...I got paid for blowing up balloons and dancing to the d.j.'s music...pretty cool.

Bad news...my throat hurts, maybe strep..and another person quit at the B&G...crazy because we only have 3 days left! Good news- Emily W. seems to be doing better...she called me and is still very weak but she was in high spirits. She was telling me all this cool stuff about donating bone marrow and platelets. We need to get some of the on campus organizations involved in a big drive b/c it costs sixty dollars to get tested because it is your DNA.

Let's see, what else? I like hanging with my fam...no fights..I yelled some last week though. And running is okay...I tried to see how fast I could run in the heat today...that was interesting...I'm still not fast enough, but I've accepted it. I just hope the team won't be let down. I've been trying my best to train...maybe it will pay off eventually or not, like all of the other sports I played. But, hey, I'm not getting a scholarship for it and I am having fun so that's all I can do.

Lots of Love
