Hello people! I finally have a second to update. I should be writing my paper at school. Instead I am at home watching Man On Fire, which is actually a good movie. Let's see Friday was hectic but fun. SPRIN FLING!Whenever I'm getting ready for something important or something where I know a lot of people will be looking at what I wear, I get so nervous. My face gets really red and I'm convinced that no outfit looks right. I ended up liking my dress and finally picking some gold shoes out of the four pairs I bought!
At first, I was afraid we weren't going to have fun, but once we got there things were great, despite the fact I got cheesecake on my dress. Luckily, I had a shawl to cover it up. The pavillion was beautiful and the weather was perfect...at first. The turn out was amazing. We ran out of glasses and some food because so many people came. It was great and the band was great to. I got to dance, the electric slide was my favorite. Zak knew it too...how cute.
Oh yeah, after about 2 hours, the real fun began. A storm was a brewin' and it came in right on us. It was kind of scary because the wind and rain came so fast. We were all rushing around in our dresses putting up chairs and everything...craziness. Katie and I were lucky that our guys were there to help out. It was fun getting to hang out with her Scottie for a bit. It's so fun to hang out as couples...but hanging out with ALL of my friends is even more wonderful. IHOP baby! We had fun chowin' down after the dance. Then some late night Texas Hold 'Em! I almost won...sometimes I really get competitive.
Since I've spent so much time describing Friday, I will have to cut short for the rest of the week. Saturday was pretty fun too. I slept in a little, then went to breakfast, then cleaned, then went to Earth Fest. The bands, Dishwater Blonde and Acoustic Syndacate, were really good. However, it was quite cold and rainy. I haven't been that cold in a while! But we had a good time! Today, I came home for church and my dad's b-day. We ate a wonderful lunch and I have gotten to hang out with my mom, dad, pappaw, Chris, and Brittany. Well, I guess I'll finish watching the movie. LIT. PAPER DUE TOMORROW! I have to keep telling myself that, then take a deep breath. Good luck to everyone else who hasn't done homework all weekend!
