We are proud and very excited to announce the official launch of our rather smashing (if we do say so ourselves ;P) Harry Potter conference, DiaCon Alley
Hurrah! :D
A week after the final instalment of Deathly Hallows fills cinemas across the globe, Harry Potter fans from all over the world will be making the pilgrimage to historic Canterbury, for DiaCon Alley - a four-day conference aimed at celebrating the journey of everyone’s favourite boy wizard.
Our theme, much like the theme of the books, is of good rising up against evil in all it’s forms, which is why we have chosen to donate all profit made to Amnesty International. Our spectacular Victory Ball is the centrepiece of the con and the very embodiment of our theme; Harry Potter has destroyed Lord Voldemort and now it is time to celebrate the new world.
So, take a look around, give our F.A.Q a read, get to know the committee and check out our registration page. Early bird registration is open until July 21st, 2010, with a £5 discount if you book your accommodation at the same time. Pretty awesome, huh?
We’re also taking pre-orders for our fantastic DiaCon Alley t-shirts, with a special introductory offer of just £10 a shirt. And considering how absolutely fabulous they are you’d be mad not to buy one.
