Six Months On
“Hey Ryan does this shirt make me look fat?” Aaron entered Ryan’s room in the apartment 10 minutes away from Berkeley. The only way the Cohen’s allowed Ryan to live off campus was if he put an add in the newspaper for a roommate. But Ryan wasn’t expecting a blonde haired boy who was nearly the exact replica to Seth.
Ryan turned round to looked at him from being on his computer and frowned, “Erm Aaron your not a girl” he simply stated and turned back round.
Aaron sighed, “Dude don’t say that, I used to get that enough in high school” then he moved forward and sat on Ryan’s bed next to his desk and looked at his computer and nodded, “that the cyber chick?” he asked.
Ryan laughed under his breath, “She’s not a cyber chick” he shook off, and he stared at the Marissa in the web cam.
A message popped up.
MCooper88 says: Hi Aaron,… dude I like your shirt LOL, Looks really good on you
Marissa waved on her web cam.
Ryan smiled then turned to Aaron, “There’s your answer”
Aaron nodded, “Cyber chick digs me, im down with that” he smiled, waving back then blowing her a kiss.
“Hey stop!” Ryan said putting his hand down. Ryan shook his head and laughed then started typing.
Atwood18 says: Stop it your giving him a big ego.
Aaron watched him type, “Your always talking to her, on the computer or by phone, you guys never stop” Aaron laughed.
“Yeah well we told each other we would keep in touch” Ryan shrugged.
MCooper88 says: Sorry, I wont say anything next time :P LOL
“That’s more then keep in touch,” Aaron laughed and stood up, “your in a long term relationship from where im standing” he said.
Ryan turned round, “Well go stand in your room then, you might get a different view” he said and threw a ball from his table at him.
Aaron laughed and got up, “Well she’s gorgeous,” he shrugged, “God knows why you let her be on the other side of the world” and he chucked back the ball to him and walked out of his room. Ryan sat for a moment then the sound of a message popped up on the screen and he turned back to it.
MCooper88 says: I think Aaron has a great ass.
Then Ryan looked up and saw Marissa laughing really hard on her web cam. He smiled and shook his head.
Atwood18 says: You wouldn’t think so when you saw it butt naked
MCooper88 says: OMG you saw him naked? LOL
Atwood18 says: It was an accident! He came out of the shower!
MCooper88 says: Yeah yeah, whatever, are you trying to tell me something?
Ryan looked at the we cam and saw her make shocked and surprise face and her hand over her mouth, then pull away and laugh.
Atwood18 says: Hell no! Im girls only, you should know that
Then Ryan saw her face fall a bit.
Atwood18 says: Hey sorry I kinda have to go, I’ve got class, speak later?
MCooper88 says: Yeah sure thing, Its nearly bed time for me anyway, god sleeping on a boat is not a lot a fun I can tell u
Atwood18 says: I bet, ok I speak to you later…x
Marissa smiled on the web cam sweetly and turned it off.

Then she signed off. Ryan sighed and switched his web cam off too and signed off. He put his books in his bag and walked out, ready for another day off college.

After a long day at college and at his new job in a restaurant Ryan walked into the apartment and saw Aaron playing video games.
“Do you ever go to class?” Ryan laughed and threw his bag down.
Aaron didn’t look up he just kept playing, “You know I cant stay away from my babies” he said referring to the video games.
“You know, I know I keep saying it, but you should really meet Seth” Ryan laughed, then walked into the open plan kitchen, “do we have anything in?”
“As in food?” Aaron asked.
Ryan laughed, “Yes as in food, we need to have dinner you know”
“Yeah well if you constitute chips and dip as dinner then hey you have the best dinner in the world” Aaron turned round and smiled at him.
“Great” Ryan said shaking his head, “your in all day playing video games and you couldn’t go out and get some food for dinner?”
“Dude you said it right there, I was in all day playing video games, how was I suppose to go get food?” Aaron said with a cheeky smile.
Ryan shook his head and smiled, “I guess its take out then” he said picking up the phone, “what do you want?”
“Don’t you wanna ring your girlfriend first?” Aaron asked pausing the game.
Ryan looked down, “She’s, she’s not my girlfriend okay?” he said setting the phone down and himself on the chair.
“What the hell are you to each other then?” Aaron asked with a smile, “cyber sex buddies?”
“You don’t stop do you?” Ryan asked with a smile, “and no we are not cyber sex buddies,…. were just friends” he shrugged.
Aaron laughed, “And you don’t stop do you?” he said to him.
“Stop what?” Ryan asked confused.
“Denying it” Aaron said with a knowing look on his face then he picked up the controller and pressed play, “oh and I want pizza”
Ryan opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out, he leaned over and picked up the phone, “Fine, but im putting pineapple on it”
“Dude pineapple?! No!” Aaron cried as Ryan smiled broadly while dialling.

“Hey sweetie!” Jimmy cried knocking on her door of the cabin.
“Hey Dad, good morning” Marissa said getting up off the bed and kissing him on the cheek, “its weird I came out here thinking I would be spending time with you, but im hardly seeing you”
“Yeah honey im sorry about that,” Jimmy said shaking his head.
Marissa looked at him, she knew her Dad wasn’t perfect, but she really thought she would be spending more time with him, she left everything in Newport to be with him, this wasn’t the life she had imagined.
“So I checked in on you last night, saw you talking to Ryan,” Jimmy said then stroked her arm, “you miss him don’t ya kiddo?”
Marissa looked to the ground, “I kinda don’t wanna talk about that Dad” she said, “besides I have work in an hour, I need to get ready”
“Right of course you do” Jimmy agreed, “I’ll see you later honey” he said and kissed her cheek.
“Yeah” Marissa half heartedly said and watched him walk out of the cabin.
Marissa knew that Ryan would be studying or getting ready for bed, she wanted to talk to him, but the time difference was making it hard. She got into her uniform and put on her makeup. On the side she saw the picture she had of her and Ryan from the beach and smiled, the last six months were harder then she imagined, not seeing Ryan everyday was getting to her, another whole six months actually scared her.
