My House/Huddy pocket diary 2007
Hey everyone!
Finally I've got the photos of my handmade House pocket diary for 2007. So per request of silent_snark I proudly present some or quite a lot of pictures of my personal pocket diary:
If you're interested in more, just take a look! Well, I'll give a "little" description of how I create my diaries first (please bear with me and any mistakes, since English isn't my mother tongue).
Basically I just take some ordinary checkered DIN A3 book and subdivide it for the 12 month and the single dates. Two days on each page leave enough room for all the necessary entries throughout the year.
At the beginning of each month there's a double page with a bigger picture on the left and the calender with the weekdays of the current month on the right side. There's also a little picture jutting out over the page on the right side, which works as some kind of "bookmark" (for lack of a better word). Since every month has its own bookmark the whole diary kinda works like a flip-book.
In addition to these 12 main pages I put little pictures for the holidays and other smaller House (mostly Huddy) pictures or some Housisms in the diary wherever they fit.
The most complicated piece of work is the cover, because I have to create the design to fit the book exactly, cut it very precisely and use some water resistant transparent self-adhesive film to protect it against water, scratches and whatever dangers there are for an innocent little diary in the big bad world ;-)
I hope the descriptions make at least some sense?! It probably will become clearer once you see some pictures, so... ON WITH THE SHOW!
