Dear Divert Me,

I see they've replaced your column with a cartoon and some word puzzles but perhaps you're still answering your mail. Or they can print this, I don't care. You gave me some advice last summer and I took it and now I need your advice again.

Last time I wrote I was single, but now I have someone. But there are two problems. The first problem is that

Well it doesn't matter what the first problem is, Professor Slughorn no the Professor no- the person who gave me the potion said not to worry about it and I'm sure he's right -even though it seemed to me at the time as though using the potion was the wrong thing to do and I'm sure she'd be cross with me if she knew but she would never have looked at me twice without it so what could I do?--.

But the other problem is that she did something terrible that was not her fault at all, she was under Imperius, but still somebody died and now she feels dreadful even though it was not her fault, and also of course it got in all the papers and people keep saying things that only make everything worse, even my boss, and I'm sure she's only saying those things because she's frightened because the Death Eaters are back and her husband's a Muggle and all, but still, she says them, things about Elle my girl having been in Slytherin at school and how you can't trust people who meddle with the Dark Arts even though Elle my girl's really only a secretary an administrator. And I know lots of people are probably saying the same, or thinking the same, though not in my family after what my sister went through in the war the last war, we know all about the Imperius curse and spells like that.

So what I need to know is, how can I cheer Elle up?
