This evening Adrian (london1952) and I are heading out of town. We are going to rural Gloucestershire to stay with the lovely Richard (aka Ricardo) and David at Richard’s farm.

Reminds me of one of the "Inspector Morse" mysteries that take place at Oxford. One of them had a band of crass American tourists (are there any other kind in British productions?), the most obnoxious of which asks in a loud nasal voice if Jesus (meaning Jesus College) was at Oxford - and the cynical, drunken tour guide snaps back "Actually, I think he went to Bethlehem Tech."
