Calendar and the week-end
I/we spent the week-end mainly at home, apart from a bit of shopping in Bromley on Saturday.
It was a week-end of over-indulgence (chocolates - some from Italy and some very decadent ones from Hotel Chocolat; pudding: a yummy apple crumble that Adrian
london1952made yesterday) and lots of time spent at my PC (OK, nothing new there!).
I have been thinking for a while about making a calendar out of some of the many pictures I took of our garden and flowers, and yesterday I spent about 6 hours selecting and editing them. Now it's only a matter of finding a place that prints them at a reasonable rate: the company I e-mailed yesterday haven't replied yet (I know I could ring them up but I have a phone phobia!).
It was also a sad week-end because Adrian's Mum had to be admitted to hospital (it started with a chest infection but it appears that now she's rather unwell due to the side effects of the many drugs she has to take regularly); as she's 81, we are both rather concerned. She's in Leeds so we cannot really do anything from here (luckily Adrian's sister lives there). Fingers crossed!
