I've just watched an hour-long documentary about Carmen Miranda on BBC Four.

The lady in the tutti-frutti hat

"Some people say I dress too gay,
 But every day, I feel so gay;
 And when I'm gay, I dress that way,
 Is something wrong with that?
 No!"

I remember watching some of her films on telly when I was a child! Now I now where I "went wrong", and why I love fruit so much!!
