I used to turn my nose up at Nigella...until I saw her on television. I love her now. I think it was her book title that kinda threw me.

What is weird is that I could picture Jennifer Saunders parodying her successfully (if she hasn't already).

Jennifer Saunders has such a versatile face: she could do anything.
Ronni Ancona did a great parody of Nigella!

I think Nigella would be quite fun to talk to at a dinner party. One of her cooking shows had a scene where she was throwing a dinner and cooking for it at almost the same time. I almost didn't want to take her seriously, she looked like she was having too much fun!

Yes I think she would be quite a laugh!
In the latest TV series "Nigella Express", she's even more laid back.
I gather you watch her on BBC America?

Nigella has been on Food Network off and on lately with one of her older shows. The programming gets changed semi-regularly so it's always difficult to remember when the show is on.

Regularly watch Torchwood, Graham Norton, Weakest Link, and Catherine Tate on BBC America (as well as the cleaning show with Aggie and Kim). I used to scoff at John Barrowman, but he's won me over.

I see that you were not joking when you said you were an anglophile!
I love British telly, I must say.

I'm amazed just how many gays work on Doctor Who, my penultimate favorite show.

Personally, if I were single, I'd go after Murray Gold (music composer) or Nicholas Briggs (current voice of the Daleks) over David Tennant! ;)
