Oh if only I could be at home, snuggled up to london1952 on the sofa! But I'm pleased that Adrian hasn't been on his own: he has been 'adopted' by a number of people while I'm away. Dinner with his Italian teacher and her family last night, party at Debz and Graham tonight - 2 streets up from us - and Christmas lunch at Linda and Bert's at the end of our road. Then his sisters and nephews should come down on Boxing Day.
As every year, Adrian decorated our home beautifully. He has so much patience, an eye for detail, imagination and style.
The dining room is tricolore (green, white and red)
The theme in the sitting room is 'elephants'. This is because a lady in Adrian's Italian 'class' gave him some elephant decorations/key rings last year; he bought some more and - as they say - the rest is history!
Of course there are more decorations in other rooms
