Our 4th wedding anniversary
was celebrated with Bellinis (served in those flutes which are quite a challenge for people with large noses like me!) at Balans on Old Compton Street, and then dinner.
Then we went to the Apollo to see "Blithe Spirit" (I should say that "we had a box at the theatre, Dahling", but the reality is that we booked 2 seats in a box which only had 2 chairs).
The play was very enjoyable and Alison Steadman was hilarious as Madame Arcati.
Haunting (love?) and laughter (and murder) from beyond the grave, rather a good choice for a wedding anniversary, don't you think?
