Dinner at the Bears' den!
Dinner at Alex and Mike (with Lynne and Miranda) on Friday evening was great.
I was surprised to see that it was still Christmas at their house (decorations up till Candlemas?), although quite an alternative one
They cooked a gorgeous meal !

The rest of the meal was fabulous too; dessert ("Edward's Warm Apple and Plum Pudding" from the Great British Bake-off) was deservedly described by Adrian as 'orgasmic'!
At one point the golden rule of dinner parties (never discuss religion and politics!) was broken and quite a heated exchange followed, and that ruined the carefree atmosphere of the evening for a little while... oh we should have stuck to safe ground: cocks! LOL!
Still, it was a fab evening! Thank you Mike and Alex: it's always lovely to see you both!
