"Mary Ann in Autumn"

was just wonderful!
I started it yesterday afternoon and have already finished it :-(

It was a delightful read, in the original 'Tales of the City' style although, of course, very 21st century.

Halfway through the book I kind of figured out how the pieces of the jigsaw would have come together and I didn't mind at all, as it is not a thriller anyway.

For a few hours I was back amongst old friends with all the humour (I laughed out loud a few times) and warmth (and some drama) from previous books.
