"Spring is in the air"
The residents' association's "Spring in the air" event on Saturday went rather well and it was fun: well done to Adrian for organising it!
I won the Best Quiche competition with my roast pepper, basil and mozzarella pie - but, truth to be told, I had a 25% chance of winning to start with since there were only another three entries!
The event wasn't as well attended as previous ones (spring events always seem to struggle for some reason) but there were some new faces which was good.
These are a few pictures from Saturday - aren't the Easter chicks adorable?
Yesterday lazy day with some 'light' gardening in the afternoon. I planted 12 trays of seeds and put them in the mini-greenhouse.
Now we only have to hope for some sunshine and warm weather (the weather forecast for the week says otherwise).
