First of all a big thanks for all your kind words and condolences on Margaret's tragic death.
What makes this tragedy even worse for her family is that the
murderer is a relative (apparently her daughter-in-law).

I have a bad cold but had to come into work: tonight we (Adrian, Lynne and I) are going to see a preview of "Sister Act - The Musical" at the Palladium. Hope that it'll be fun and that I won't feel too ill.
Tomorrow I'm going to work from home, if I don't feel any better.

I love liquorice. But I couldn't eat the salty liquorice "sweets" that a colleague brought back from Sweden. Yuk!

Finally I'd like to share a joke that the lovely David e-mailed us (and should you not know who Gordon Brown is, he's our Prime Minister)
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him
He asked, "What are all those clocks?"
St. Peter answered: "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock.. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock will move."
"Oh," said the man, "Whose clock is that?"
"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."
"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock.. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."
"Where's Gordon Brown's?" asked the man.
"Gordon's clock is in Jesus's office. He's using it as a ceiling fan."
