Saturday at the farm
Yesterday Lynne drove us to a very nice garden centre where we made a few purchases.
She also said that she had arranged a little surprise for us: we'd meet Sue and PJ (another 2 neighbours) and their grandson somewhere in afternoon.
When I saw the signs to Downe village, I shouted "We're going to Charles Darwin's house!". We indeed stopped in the village but our destination was the Christmas Tree Farm.
We weren't too taken with the idea (farm animals and children!) to start with but, to our surprise, we had a great time!
The village itself is rather nice and would be a good setting for a Miss Marple adaptation.
