Freaky !!
Almost at the end of the season now, but for some reason this dahlia threw up these strange coloured blooms ! All the other flowers through the summer have been the very pale pink colour (that appears here in the less than a quarter of this flower-head) with a little darker pink markings in the centre... a new bud has just opened, and it is back to the original pink....... so where did these two come from ?
