awww man, going through old posts here, it's so weird to think that some years ago I was so happy to stumble upon a certain comic community here that enabled me to re-ignite my love for everything batman and the few things I remembered/liked about other DC/Marvel stuff
then the community unfortunately died quickly due to copyright issues, a while later a subdued version appeared again....
I'm so grateful for the boostle love and everything I got introduced to
and also a little sad that now....NOW in the times of comic movies galore - where even frickin' deadpool (or even "weirder" Aquaman lol) FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY
gets his (hopefully) great movie - LJ is dead and I am mostly disconnected from all the awesome D:
I want to read great analytical posts and meta discussions and while those of course do exist on tumblr I really miss the community feeling ;_;
also, some friends who never really were into the comic stuff actually do like it now and it's awesome but I'm also not really interacting much on that front with them because I.....wanna discuss the movies and comics and talk about AUs and headcanons and shit but I don't wanna come off as pretentious? and I also don't wanna be the "IN THE COMICS THIS IS DIFFERENT" person, because I think it might come off as annoying and also my comic knowledge is still not that extensive (due to all those years of disconnection) and I just.... ;_;

I miss my comic sempais from the LJ communities
