Fool's Errant - Finished
urgh, once again, it took me a while....with a lot of longer breaks
BUT
I loved this books~
not really THAT much for the story but a lot for the relationships which were the main point of it I think
it was a good story but somehow it felt that not much happened
(coming back from the liveship trilogy I kinda have to get used to the pace of fitz's storytelling again!)
there never really was such high tension as in the farseer trilogy, which actually was a nice change
still, you once again totally felt with fitz and how much his life sucks.... D:
then again, this was just the first book of the tawny man trilogy, the tension will probably rise later on
above all, this was such a golden den for my shipping feels, especially in the first third of the book, I didn't know what to think of it but I felt really happy~
because OTP ;A;
altogether the relationships were really well build up and developed, the narrative is top notch in that regard all the time!
the last 3 or 4 chapters were really sad with a bit of funnies mixed in and I absolutely loved them!
loved the way the narrative prepared the reader for a certain moment right from the beginning of the book and so you totally see it coming all the time, which made the execution of that scene feel really smooth and natural
of course I've already started "The Golden Fool" now~
