....
so I continued playing L.A. Noire
I am stuck in the game because I suck hardcore at shooting and there is this big shootout
yeah, basically I am too dumb for the control system xDD;
I forgot how to duck and it took me a while to figure out how to shoot again (haven't played for some time) and I still kind of don't really get it right in the chaos of the action
then there is the fact that I sometimes don't fucking know where the shots are coming from, I figure it out and phelps says they are too far away. then I don't know where I have to run to and all that together is my certain death
no fun, and cole is still just at the traffic desk! lol
(although I think this is the last case just before my next promotion...if I ever get there xD;)
my driving skills have miraculously gotten better, although I still get the occasional (passive) aggressive comment from my partner...
"Try not to kill the people who pay our salaries Phelps"
"Can you get to the next light without killing someone?"
"I wouldnt' feel safe riding in a tank with you"
"Put your foot down and use the fucking brake!"
I love it when phelps actually answers xD! like:
"At the next intersection, shut your mouth"
"Turn left, left, left....and right up your ass!"
I just kinda "spoilered" myself (although considering I already know how the game ends I doubt there are any more 'spoilers' for that matter)
so I'm going to team up with the asshole sometime, the one that kept me and my partner from arresting the fat pervert? xDDD
that promises to be fun, then again, aren't they all assholes at the police anyways?!
...and I still think this is just another GTA
I get the feeling this is a game that's better played together with friends
I just don't get the kind of entertainment out of it that I hoped I would
sure the investigations are fun but the driving around and chasing and shooting people is just not my cup of tea (especially because I suck so hard at it) and it's ALL THE SAME
I doubt I'll ever finish it on my own
mabe it's my fault but I really hoped it'd be a 'better' game D:
