Tajima is not a lefty!
he only prefers to bat left-handed!
so I made this new OC and as he is a baseball player I rewatched some oofuri episodes for uniform theft inspiration, because I really like the plain white (/a little yellowish) nishiura uniform but also totally love the black/white/blue mihoshi and the grey/black musashino ones D:

nishiura, the white one is the most common uniform, sometimes with black stripes, most often just with different colours along the seams like read or blue
I actually really love mihoshi's uniform colours, not too dark and a beautiful blue (deeper than on this scans) and their blue caps are also a nice fashionable trait (not seen here)
but the grey/black uniform has something mature, don't you think? hng~

anyhow, in my "research" I noticed that many people seem to think that tajima is actually a lefty
in the beginning I used to think that, too, because of his left batting position
but we always see him wearing the left mitt and throwing the ball with his right hand, he also was depicted writing with his right hand multiple times and at one point he says to mihashi "I really envy lefties!"
in season one against tousei in the scene with tajimas first at-bat against them, we see junta throwing the forkball and the sinker and it get's explained that the forkball is the best shot to get a righty out and the sinker is the best to get a lefty out and then tousei's catcher kawai thinks "lucky that the cleanup hitter is a lefty" because junta's favourite shot is the sinker
so I guess that's also something that might set people on the wrong track
so far the only real lefty in the nishiura team is oki-kun, isn't he?
I think all the others are right-handed but some prefer batting on the left side (I have seen izumi batting left, too, I'm pretty sure)

I tried yesterday during a paintchat session with aburah but all the time I was stuck at getting the head shape right....and then I gave up XD
there are only so many wonky head shapes I can bear with
actually I wanted to try today again after waking up but instead what I've been doing all day long was reading about baseball, rewatching oofuri episodes and searching for cool uniforms
