how the fuck am I supposed to learn them? fuck you, Kings of Wessex! in that line I am thankful for Swein, Cnut, Hardecnut and Harold
they are only the Kings of Wessex...that's like.....0.1% from what I have to learn....
I HATE KINGS! it's like there were only the names Edward, William, Henry and maybe Richard
I mean, ...have a look at the Plantagenet Kings from 1272 to 1399 ..THEY ARE ALL NAMED EDWARD (I-III + the Black Prince)...apart from poor Richard II XD
or the Lancastrian Kings (1399-1471) are Henry IV - VII
apart from those kings there are ten centuries I have to learn...with like...a million things that happened + the history of church + literature + linguistic features of OE, ME, ModE...
the last two things I really love!
but I am not that much a fan of history and especially church
it was interesting to hear and read about it, sure, but I don't want to learn that stuff by heart
