Time for an Update!
I know, I know. I don't post much at all anymore. I noticed that my last post was last August. Um, yeah, that was a long time ago.
I don't work at the jewelry store in the Galleria anymore. I work down the hall at Chico's, still in the Galleria. I like working in the Galleria. Granted, the commute sucks. Especially when I have a decade old car that dies or goes on the fritz occasionally. Like last week when Houston flooded, my commute home was 6 hours instead of 45 minutes. I wound up driving through some high water and my car drowned mid-puddle. *Cha-ching* Needs a new engine. Other than that, I like working in the Galleria.
I think Chico's is going to be better than Landau. Okay, I already know that it's going to be better. I have more people to work with, which means that when I ask for time off, there are people who can cover my shift. And they guarantee at least one weekend off a month, cuz they're actually people who have lives that understand that people have lives, not just jobs. So I have put in my request for Nov 10, 11, 12, the last weekend of Faire. I noticed that nobody else requested that weekend off, yay!
Let's work in baby steps. This is a small post. I'll work on actually posting AGAIN, soon.
