CMC funds free advertisement for Blue Judy
Did anybody else go to the senior-alumni barbecue today?
Did you by any chance get a look at the free t-shirts that CMC distributed at the event?
The back has a CMC 60 Years of Leaders in the Making logo. That's fine, that stuff is all over everything this year.
Emblazoned across the chest in big blue stylized letters is an advertisement for Blue Judy. This is outrageous. We are using our schools funds to manufacture free advertising for a band that has no affiliation with the college. Blue Judy played no part in purchasing these t-shirts, it was all funded by CMC. CMC is providing Blue Judy with free advertisement at the college's expense.
It was infuriating to see students, faculty and alums walking around campus today with Blue Judy advertisements across their chests.
This is a clear misappropriation of school funds, and frankly, I am pissed off.
