Welcome to Lomosnark!

Welcome to lomosnark , a graphics community for, well, me. I've been leaning toward a separate graphics account for some time now... and today seemed like a great day to do just that. Watch for me, lovelies. I'll be posting my oldest to newest work, so today, tomorrow and Thursday will be snarky and lomo-filled!

'Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, "happy accidents," and alternative film processing are often considered part of the "Lomographic Technique." Users are encouraged to take a lighthearted approach to their photography, and use these techniques to document everyday life, as the Lomo LC-A's small size, simple controls, and ability to shoot in low light encourages candid photography, photo reportage, and photo vérité through the much-touted "10 Rules."' -Wikipedia.org

'Snark, an idiomatic contraction of the term "snide remark", used colloquially both as a noun and a verb (e.g., "to snark about someone"), also sometimes as an adjective (e.g, a "snarky comment"). It is of uncertain coinage (any speculated relationship to Lewis Carroll's mythical creature has neither been proven nor ruled out, either as source or derivative). Literary references to its usage as a verb, however, date back to at least the late 1800s, according to its Oxford English Dictionary definition. Also as described in the book Snark (2009) by film critic David Denby, detailing a history of snark through the ages.' -Wikipedia.org
